Dear Scranton family,
Have you ever dream of being a princess?
Well I did and I do.

On March 24th and 25th, 2017. I became the Princess Fiona in Shrek the Musical, an annual drama held by my faculty, English Language and Arts. It was a very long, exciting, exhausting, loving memory and experience.
There are many parts of this drama. Crew, cast, musician, choir, crowd. On my first year of college, I also joined the drama titled The Lion King as a choir. Then, now in my third year, I registered myself as the choir, since I love singing. However, the singing coach who should select member of choir, asked me to enter the casting room and he asked me to be the wicked witch, one of the fairy tale creatures character. Since I never watch the Shrek animation movie, I went home and searched for Shrek movie and also saw the fairy tale creatures character. Then the next day I entered the casting room. The directors of the drama was very excited to see me in the audition room. They asked me to sing, dance and act as Wicked Witch, Gingy-Sugarplum Fairy, Pinochio and the last one, the main character, Princess Fiona. I just can sing, I cannot dance, well I do dance when I was in the kindergarten. It was long way ago. Even I just act based on the animation movie which i watched in a very short time. However, There was the call back audition and I was asked to be the Princess Fiona. Gosh! the main character, a princess. How can I be a princess?

It is the preparation of the drama which was 7 months, all people in  this drama production struggled thus the result will be best. There are more or less 140 people join this drama production. Yes! It is a very big production. Being the main cast of the drama for me is a blessing, it is not me, but Jesus who is inside me who helped me. It is hard being Princess Fiona, she is a princess who has a bipolar character. Easily mad, sad, happy and excited. She dances  and sings a lot. I really work hard to get the Fiona's character.

On the performing day, I have a cough. Really I almost gave up since that was the day when everything should be good. I had consumed many kind of medicine to help me. However, it still there, the cough. There was worry in my heart. Then I pray a lot in the backstage, drink more mineral water and consume a medicine. Then every time i stepped my feet on the stage, I said in the name of Jesus Christ. It is worked. I did not cough during the performance. That was very amazing and I know it is because of Him.

For me, given a chance to be the Princess Fiona is a dream which become true. I see Jesus' love for me. He help me to break my limits and to survive during the rehearsal and even on the D-Days. Really! I am thankful of his grace.
