This is my very first time posting here, and I would like to share one of His ways on how He gave me a room to be a blessing for others!

I believe most of you are probably interested joining an organization for some reasons. Perhaps, to be a productive person?  If you answer yes, then I am kind of different from you! (hahaha). I have never thought to join any organizations at my university. I was afraid that it might destroy my grade and daily life since I know it would consume most of my time. Therefore, I would rather choose to be a part of a temporary committee than involve in an organization. However, there was a time that I felt God talked to me. He asked me to go beyond my comfort zone. It was started when one of my friends, who is now the head of my department’s student council, asked me to be a part of this student council and helped her as a secretary. At that very moment, I did not know what kind of answer I need to give to her. I mean.. I should stick to my words that I would never join an organization, right? If you were in my position, you would know how confused I was since she is one of my good friends! Well, I could reject her offer easily regardless our friendship. But, there was something that kept pushing me to think about it again. I asked my friend to give me some time, and finally I brought this to God and questioned Him a lot. Why should it come too sudden? What is the meaning behind it all? How can He guarantee my grade and other things? Anyway, I was thinking for 3 days long, and now you can imagine how confused I was for this kind of little thing hahaha.

Behind my prayer, I found His wise answer. Day by day, there was always something that convinced me to accept this offer. Started from my surroundings, my family, and even His words from the bible that I remember the most. Colossians 2:23, “Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.” This verse totally changed my mind because I realized that He wants me to work for Him. Therefore, I decided to accept His offer. Now, I feel so much more than thankful as my life can be impactful to others through this chance, and I finally found a place to build my leadership! ^^
Then, how about my grade and other activities that I worried a lot? Well, life must keep going on, isn't it?  Thankfully, again, I learned how to manage my time and prioritize which one I should do first and last. Life is not about numbers, and it is not about yourself. Life is more than that, just be grateful for what you have now and enjoy the process within Him.

For all of you who read this, don’t lose the opportunity He gives you. I believe that it is one of His works on your life to make you a better person, to give you a room to be an impact to others, and to make you find His purpose on your life. A chance may not come twice, right? If you find it difficult, come to Him as He is available anytime for you. Everything you do, do it all for Him and look how great is our God! God bless you all.
