Always Grateful

Hello, everyone! How are you? I hope you’re doing well. My name is Melinda Werinussa, I am a second-year student at UKDW majoring in Information System. This is my first time receiving the Scranton scholarship. I am very grateful for the wonderful opportunity that has been given to me.

To be honest, the assistance provided was very meaningful and truly helped me, especially in the conditions and situation of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The current condition is not easy for all of us, including in the field of education. Everything must be done online. Even so, we have to keep trying and be optimistic.

At times like this, learning activities including classes, group discussion, and other student activities continue to run even though in a different way. Those activities, which were initially carried out face to face, have to be changed to the online method.

Above all, I am very grateful for what I got and I feel happy to be part of the Scranton Women Leadership Center. I realize that everything is not a coincidence but everything has been planned and prepared by God for me and all of us.
